Phosphagenics began as an ASX listed investment company, Greenchip Development Capital which listed on the ASX in August 1993. In April 1999 the Company redirected its investment program into the biohealth and plastics industries and changed the name to Vital Capital Limited (VIT). Vital Health Sciences Ltd (VHS) was the major biohealth investment of VIT.
In 2004 the shareholders approved an in-specie distribution of the Company’s other investment Petrecycle, the acquisition of the outstanding shares of VHS and a change of name to Phosphagenics Limited. VHS became a 100% subsidiary of Phosphagenics. In March 2006 an ADR – Level 1 program was established in the USA with The Bank of New York Mellon (PPGNY). This listing was upgraded in July 2007 to the International OTCQX.
Today Phosphagenics is a globally driven company focused on the development and commercialisation of pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and cosmeceutical products.
